Hey everyone,

This was a pretty solid week to end off the transfer, talked to a lot of good people and surprisingly enough, no crazy people.

We did get to meet with a new family this week, we've been trying to set up a time to meet with them for 2 weeks, but Satan kept throwing them curveballs. But we were finally able to sit down and have a great talk. We got to know them and what they are expecting from us, and we had just enough time to briefly introduce the Book of Mormon then we had to leave so we could get home on time. And it is only because of the extra strength of the Spirit that we were able to get home on time, we had about 4 miles to bike and that should've taken us almost 25 minutes but we managed to do it in 18, screaming into the backyard at 9:28. Then we met with Alex and Mona on Thursday with Sister Gish, who sent us over, and we had an intensely spiritual lesson on the Restoration of the Gospel, Mona told us that she knew the Book of Mormon was true without even praying about it, but that she would pray for confirmation anyways, and Alex was telling us that it makes a lot of sense because his tribe (he's part native American) has some old records that are written in Hebrew, so they're awesome for sure!

They were the most exciting part of this week, lots of appointments falling through, lots of uninterested people, but thankfully no one who's too mean about it. Yesterday was an adventure because we didn't have time to go to our apartment after church because we had to meet up with the Frederick 1st Elders to swap the car, then we had a dinner appointment. We left the appointment to go straight to a caroling activity with members of all the presidencies in the ward and their families, then we had an appointment that we had to bring a member to, so we got dropped off at his house and ran over there, still in our suit coats. We knocked on her door and she asked us to give her 20 minutes to get dressed, so we took that opportunity to run home and shed our coats and grab some supplies, but by the time we got back, she had run away, even her car was gone! We had a good laugh about that and had a good conversation with the Priest that came out with us, so it ended up being productive.

Love you all, if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask,

Elder Howell
